A TECHNIQUE FOR OBTAINING IMPRESSIONS OF DEEPLY PLACED DENTAL IMPLANTS

Abstract

Modern prosthetics using dental implants is the best and most atraumatic method of treatment for adentia. However, for the longevity of a successful result, the most accurate connection of the implants with the prosthesis is necessary. One of the factors that can affect the accuracy of the implant-abutment connection is the stability of the impression transfer in the impression. Under certain conditions, the implant must be located deep enough relative to the gingival margin. Prosthetics using dental implants is the best and most atraumatic method of treatment for adentia. With the help of this simple method of obtaining impressions by the method of an open spoon using impression material for registration of occlusion and liquid composite of light polymerization, it is possible to exclude the possibility of mobility of transfers in the impression with deep placement of dental implants.
